About Dr. Beauchesne

Dr. Beauchesne is the owner of KBAC.  She is currently a Visiting Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Social Policy and Practice/SIAP.  She is the former Project Director for the National Guard Psychological Health Program, and for over 14 years, the Director of the Office of WORKlife Programs, Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FASAP), the Student Assistance Program for medical and graduate students the School of Medicine and the Bloomberg School of Public Health at the Johns Hopkins Institutions (JHI).
 
Dr. Beauchesne developed the Office of WORKlife Programs for the Johns Hopkins University and Hospital.  She is a nationally recognized expert with capabilities in positioning, developing, leading, and managing behavioral health, employee and student assistance, work/life, wellness, community and developing workforce effectiveness programs and policies in academic environments.  She ran one of the largest internal integrated employee and student assistance and worklife programs serving 40,000 faculty, staff and employees of the JHI, and 3,500 students.   She holds a PhD in Social Welfare Policy from the University of Pennsylvania, an MSW from the University of Illinois and an in Finance from the University of Baltimore. Currently, she maintains a consulting practice to academia—focusing on small colleges and community colleges who may want to participate in developing part-time or consortium models to conserve resources.
